This is a residential showroom that is to be ’the most appealing apartment tower in Japan’.
‘The Salon’, in its luxury appearance, is designed to offer visitors not only a most holistic understanding of the apartment itself but also an experience of the livelihood of ones who are moving in. The same materials and spatial layout are reproduced to envision the apartment interior. Inside the Salon, there is a café serving a local favourite coffee for any visitors. This open friendly atmosphere is aimed to provide a sense of home and connection in order to make the visitor ponder what life is like in this neighbourhood.
The Tower model built in 1/25 is placed in the centre of the two-floor height atrium to welcome visitors. It gives a dramatic impression and a more realistic understanding of the grandeur and appearance of the building. The long dark tunnel decorated with arched lattice leads visitors to the atrium, producing a dramatic feeling not only for the gallery but also the size of the tower itself.
